Stuff like this is why we stock up on meds and take care of any health issues before we come back to the States. It is crazy the kind of stuff you can just get over the counter here.
Despite all our advances in healthcare, I can’t imagine another country having a more convoluted system than ours. Hope it’s not as complicated over there.
It hurts my brain reading what you have to go through for basic care. Growing up in Australia and now living in Scotland, it’s such a blooming privilege to have universal healthcare. Aus is a bit different with a semi private system, but still…add the tyranny of distance on top of what you have to deal with seems like a real stress!
