The strategy I took this year was to let the neighborhood dogs have a field day -kinda like that movie Purge. Kept us out of any surplus egg problem but, wouldn’t you know, still didn’t please the wife.
Yep, we've had a couple of purges like that in past from neighborhood dogs as well. Currently, despite our attempts to trap it, we have a red fox that thins down our flock seemingly every year and prevents the eggs from expanding exponentially.
“Here I am encouraging a six-year-old boy to work hard so he can make money to buy toys to play with to have fun, when he was already having fun collecting eggs and throwing them at trees.” We do say and do the craziest things as parents.
