Our Farm

Well, it’s located in Shelby, NC. We live in an old farmhouse built in 1897, built by wife’s ancestors. I’m pretty sure they still live here, as they seem to relish terrifying the in-law inhabiting their domicile with disembodied utterances and footless footsteps.

When it comes to farming, you name it—I’ve probably tried it. I’ve had so many farming dreams and schemes, so many farming frustrations and failures, and so many times where the only thing left to do is laugh. Mostly, we just focus on bees these days. We have around 100 hives—and sell our honey under the name White House Honeybee Farm.
